Bad News: 70-80% of crowdfunding campaigns fail to raise their required amounts.
Good News: The above can be fixed with a bit of marketing- see video below
So…Why do crowdfunding campaigns fail?
It’s because most crowdfunding owners are “creators” and not “marketers”. These are people with an excellent product idea, motivation to help others or bring some ridiculously out-of-the-box idea to life.
It’s now a known stat that…
If you don’t generate 30% of your funding goal’s revenue in the first 7 days, you won’t hit your funding goal.
Sadly, this is true for the majority of the crowdfunding campaigns.
This is because the creators don’t have the marketing skill to drive the required traffic to their funding page. They think by asking some family, friends, and simply being live on the platform, they will get all the traffic that they need— that’s simply not true!
So, how do we turn this around? Below you will find my gameplan to running a crowdfunding campaign.
Please watch the video and comment on what you think of my game plan, what you would add to it or even remove.
